Color theory and mixing has seriously been one of the HARDEST things to learn. No one wants to touch this subject with a 10 foot pole. I've mostly learned by trial and error, but things are finally starting to consistently come out in a way I like. So before I forget how I learned this (like most advanced artists seem to have), I'm going to post a few tutorials - for my own reference as much as for yours.

Done in Sketchbook Pro entirely on "Normal" layers. This process will work in any program.
