Description
From the flowing leaves in the trees, to the ferns and grass scattered all over the ground, the scenery was covered in all shades of green. The light green grass met with the dark green bushes and the brown trunks of the trees. Those trees stretched up high into the sky, their branches extending upwards and sideways, almost completely covered in dark green leaves. It was as if they were touching the blue sky that spread out above them.Everything in the forest seemed natural and peaceful, except for what seemed to be a small creator centred between a group of trees. Something stirred from within the creator, making a small groaning sound as it opened its eyes. It closed them again after seeing the sudden light. "Augh, owwie..."
Jad sat up slowly, cringing a little as she looked up trough the tree branches and up at the sky. The branches seemed to be broken, as if they had snapped as something heavy crashed through them. "Huh? What happened there?"
Buzzing sounds from the vixeon's antenna interrupted her focus on the branches. "Jad! Where the bleedin' heck are you?!" Sair's voice yelled through Jad's mind, causing the vixeon to wince. "Are you alright?! Answer dammit!"
Jad winced again. "Sair?" she replied, a little confused. "Um, could you please stop yelling? I'm kinda getting a headache."
"JAD!!" Sair yelled, happy to hear Jad's voice, causing her to wince again. There was a pause from Sair's side of the line as she tried to mask the sudden outburst of joy. "Er, sorry. Are you alright? Why the heck did you fall out of the ship for?"
Thankful that the robot had stopped yelling, Jad checked to see if she had any wounds. Other than a few scratches on her uniform and a huge bruise covering her left side and back she seemed fine. "Er, I'm fine," she assured Sair, smiling a little. She suddenly became confused again. "Wait, ship? Fall?"
Sair sighed. "Don't tell me you don't remember?!" she yelled. She paused once again, realising she was yelling. "Ugh, how do I explain this? Well we were on a ship that was taking you down to some valley. Something to do with the Games I think? Anyway, some guy was trying to give you instructions but you got all excited and weren't listening. Then you tripped over me, unlocked the door and fell out."
Jad blinked. "Really?"
"Yes!" Sair yelled, getting frustrated. She sighed. "Sorry... Hey, do you remember what you're supposed to do down there?"
"Erm..." Jad stalled, struggling to remember. Her antenna drooped sheepishly. "Um...no."
