Description I felt like drawing an image of Autumnfire. I haven't drawn her much lately. I wanted to draw her doing something she would actually be doing. It's been a while since I have done so.

I am pretty happy with how this turned out. Her shoulders aren't that great and her one arm looks a little long. I still need more practice at anatomy but all in all I think she turned out alright. This was particularly challenging because of, well, the light situation. I did my best to color Autumn as much in relation to the light around her as possible. I think it turned out pretty good.

Done in Prisma Color colored pencils on regular paper

I'm not sure if I should do a dark outline around her or not. What do you think?

Very cool! I think that if you decide to add an outline to the character, you should do the same to the rest of the image, just to keep the style consistent. Another option is to add outlines to the foreground only, and making them thinner as you get further into the background.

If you feel Autumn should be more separated from the background, you could also increase the contrast at the edges. So where she is light, make the background darker (e.g. in the area surrounded by her right arm, stomach, and thigh). Or the other way around, for example give her back a deeper shadow to stand out against the lighter coloured runestone and the blue field. I think this would give the image more punch than just adding outlines.

Very nice. You did very well on the lighting. And I think you don't need a dark outline; the highlights already serve as outline enough.

Nice werewolf! I think you could get away with a dark outline if you wanted, but it does look just fine without, too.
