RAPUNZEL, THE LANTERNS ARE FOR YOU!!Tangled is one of my favourite movies, so it's only due to my extreme laziness that I haven't tried my hand at fan art before now. For the most part, I'm really happy with it! I tried a different colouring style too - which I think worked okay!

On a more serious note, don't you think it would have saved Lady Goethel quite a bit of trouble if she told Rapunzel her birthday fell on a different day entirely and that those lanterns are for an unrelated event?

It probably could have, but I'm guessing it just didn't cross her mind. I mean it seemed like Rapunzel would sneak out of bed to watch them as a kid - and only started asking to go see them when she was older.
