Description
Chelsea opened her door and was surprised to see Shea standing outside. He rarely left his home on Mushroom Island and Chelsea was afraid something bad had happened. “Are you ok Shea?”

He shook his head. “Shea so hot. Too hot on island. Chelsea have cool?”

“Oh of course! Come on in and I’ll get you a drink, ok?”

Shea nodded and shuffled into the house. He sat down on the floor and looked around curiously. Chelsea sat down across from him and handed him a large glass of ice water. He quickly drank it and let out a large sigh when he was finished. “Shea too hot.”

Chelsea furrowed her brow in concern. “Still? Well here, let’s take these off of your hands and feet.” She reached out to untie the rope holding the fur to Shea’s arm and he jerked away. “Come on it will help you get cool,” she insisted and leaned closer. Shea reluctantly allowed Chelsea to untie the knots and remove the furs. She smiled when she finished. “There doesn’t that feel better? Now sit still and I’ll go get a cold washcloth for you.”

Shea grunted and watched as Chelsea ran off to the bathroom. She returned quickly and put her arms around him as she draped the cloth around the back of his neck. Shea felt his face get hotter with Chelsea so close. “Still hot,” he mumbled.

Chelsea frowned and pressed her forehead against Shea’s to check his temperature. “Oh you do still feel very hot. Well let’s wait a little bit and see if you start to cool down.”

“Can’t. Chelsea make Shea hot in face.”

Chelsea fell backwards in surprise. “W-what!?” She noticed a blush spreading across Shea’s face and felt one creeping onto hers. She had a crush on Shea but didn’t know if he would understand her feelings, so she never admitted it to him.

He repeated, “Chelsea make Shea hot! Don’t know what to do.”

Chelsea felt her heart pound as she got on her knees and crawled over to him. She pressed her lips against his briefly before pulling back and responding, “It’s ok. It just means that you want to be with me all of the time.”

Shea blinked his eyes in surprise. “Shea do like to be with Chelsea. Shea like to be with Chelsea more than only once a day. Shea want to be hot if Shea with Chelsea.”

Chelsea giggled. “Well we don’t always have to be hot, but I would rather be hot with you than anyone else.”

Shea smiled and crashed his lips against Chelsea’s again.
