you have white space beween the shade and the linework which is not a good thing, try using the layers differently. The eyes should not be blury, and the lips need more definition (highlight/shade) The picture also looks flat, you need to add a lighter color for the light sourse

it was done with gimps airbrush, just had to keep the left mouse button pressed for a while and the eyes are done
