This one is a bit of an older drawing of mine, but I felt like sharing bc I still think the design is good & felt like sharing.

This design because I was in an online conversation discussing how much I personally hate Amy Rose's modern dress and what ways to fix the various issues with it.
Like don't get me wrong, when it's in the form of a 2d illustration I think it looks good, even if some smaller aspects could be reworked in some way. But the second they turn it into a 3d model it's horrific, both current day and as far back as Sonic Adventure. I get why they would make the skirt a more disc shape in the older titles, skirt physics weren't exactly all that far along and there was only so much you could pull off during the time. But nowadays? When we've had iterations of Amy's design both with proper skirt physics and iterations where the skirt was actually modeled in a way that didn't give the viewers immediate shots of her undergarments uncomfortably close to the screen? It's horrible. These shouldn't be issues that are still as much of an issue as they are.

So this drawing focuses on both correcting those iterations but also implementing various design elements from her appearances long after the initial adventure era outfit. Most notably of the outfits that I looked at to translate over were her Sonic Riders outfit, her Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games ballet and runner outfit, Sonic Boom's Amy design (I know a lot of people kinda hated the design for those iterations but in the case of Amy it did correct this gripe a bit more), and a smidge bit of her classic design (mainly in just bringing back her back quills bc I just kinda miss that design aspect from her is all lol).

If anyone wants to dissect whether or not her adventure outfit is bad or dissect whether or not this redesign would fix those issues then feel free to in the comments, I love reading what people think on stuff like this.
