Description
This is the main character to an RPG that I've been workshopping in my head for a while, called Kaiser Twilight. The game would be a combination of Lunar, Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire (hence the character's name), Xenogears, and Legend of Zelda: The Occarina of Time.

Despite the morals his surrogate grandfather (who everyone just calls Pops) tried to distill in him, Ryu has grown to be the local pickpocket in the city of Meribia. Just like Aladden, Ryu finds himself constantly persued by the authorities for his uncountable acts of petty theft. The only one who is ever able to catch him is an A-rank officer within W.I.N.G. (Wyndian Investigation and Neutralization Guard) named Nina Wingly, who also happens to be Ryu's childhood friend. But despite his delinquent behavior, Ryu has a strong sense of honor and loyalty to his family and friends. Whatever it is that he may pilfer, it is oftentimes for the purpose of helping his grandfather with his payments or so the two of them have something to eat the next day.

Unbeknowest to him (as happens to be the case with most main characters), Ryu is actually the most recient incarnation of the silver star's Blue Dragon, which was thought to be lost during the Dragoon Campaign on Lunar (AKA the Silver Star AKA the moon). Within him sleeps the innate power of water (in contrast to the power of fire from the BoF series), which will find itself aiding in the determinate battle for two worlds: Spirus (the Blue Star/ Earth) and Lunar.
