I did this during my Thanksgiving Break, actually. But I did not want to submit it right away, seeing as I've been submitting a lot of art lately (so I thought this could wait a while). As you all know, I love Final Fantasy XII. It's my favourite RPG ever. I've already drawn Ashe in her wedding gown, so I decided I'd also draw her in her default/regular outfit for the game.

Ashe (and for those of you who don't know the game, her acual name is Ashelia B'Nargin Dalmasca, Princess of Rabanastre) has one awesome outfit. It was fun to draw but I really had to study the armour on her legs to get it right. The weapon she has is the Platinum Dagger; I wanted to give her the Demonsbane sword, but it wouldn't fit in the picture (or look right with the pose she has, since the sword is pretty big & it wouldn't rest on the stairs correctly). As for her pose, it is just something I've been practicing with; I've been experimenting with different poses. Shadowing on the stairs is hard to get right.

Bad scanner! While it is awesome, the scanner sometimes doesn't catch the shading/shadowing I do. I haven't a clue why.

And, for those of you who know the game, this is an actual background from the game. If you can guess where it is, you get a and and :coke: from me. ^_^

Drawn with coloured India Inks & then coloured in with watercolorus. The sky I had to Photoshop in, once again..darn it, I don't know why my blue watercolours were being bad that day. (It originally was all watermarked & streaky looking. Bad watercolours!)
