Description If you know me well, you know I am a huge Xenosaga fan. I the Xenosaga games. In my opinion, I believe they are the best RPG series to grace the Earth.

There are so many cool & loveable characters in the game. Kos-Mos is my favourite female character, because she is so beautiful, graceful, and totally kick-arse. Kos-Mos isn't prounouned like "Cosmos". It is prounounced like "Kohs-Mohs". Kos-Mos is actually an abbreviation for something, but at this moment, I forget what it stands for. When I first saw the character, I thought, "She's so cool!"

Have you noticed her haiir gets darker as she advances? She has such the coolest outfits, doesn't she? Kos-Mos is a dream cosplay of mine, because I know I do not possess the skills to make something this complicated (just yet).

Yay a Xenosaga fan. I totally agree these games rock. and Im so glad you drew archetype kos-mos since I couldnt find a good picture of her anywhere. I checked online and found a full body ref picture but its in black and gray..and I need a color full body ref. Do you possibly have any? or could you send me what ref's you used when drawing her please

The only reference I had for the Achetype Kos-Mos was recording it & then pausing the scenes for the sketches. Because I drew this a long time ago, I think I threw out the sketches a while back.

I absolutely LOVE Xenosaga. KOS-MOS is one of my favorites too, in female characters at least. I heard that in the Xanosaga Episode I Reloaded you can get teh KOS-MOS archetype outfit. KOS-MOS actaully stands for Kosmos Obet Strategic Multiple Operations System, and I only know that because I'm replaying the entire series...again...

Thanks for the comment, I am glad you like it. Ah, so Kosmos is "World" in Greek. Hmmm, I wonder if the creators of the game knew that when they named her. Of it can refer to "Comsos", perhaps, just spelled a different way. Who knows!

Certainly, I wish I could DRAW like you! ;_; Your KOSMOS' are amazing, and I may just have to use this image if I plan to do the Archetype KOSMOS in the future (since I've considered it, but had no definite picture to go by!)

Wow, thank you so much for the awesome comments & the on this! I'm so glad you like it. Kos-Mos is a fun character to draw, even though her outfits are rather detailed. Ah, Archetype Kos-Mos. Yes, the reference for that is hard to find. I had to base it off the Xenosaga Ep1 DVD I had by pausing the scenes with Archetype & then doing sketches. It was kind of a pain. But thanks, I'm glad to know you would like my drawing of Archetype as a reference. ^_^

Ooooh, I've seen your Kos-Mos on cosplay.com, I believe! It's awesome...one of the better ones, I say. Yesh, I plan on making EpII Kos for AX07. It's gonna be hard, but I'm determined.

And I know I already faved it, but this is very awesome. The world needs more Archetype art -- she's so underrated for such an awesomely powerful woman. Not to mention the other two incarnations rock. How large are each of them? Painting small detail in watercolor is insanely hard, to me, so you are to be commended. Especially for the shiny highlights.

How large are each of what? The three different Kos-Mos? It's all the same painting. It's not very large. I think it's a bit smaller than the standard 9 x 11 inch paper. Well now, thank you so much for the comments on this! I appreciate all the great feedback & thanks once again for the on this.

I love this piece. I love your work because it's lovingly made by hand, much like mine. every detail you've worked years, probably, to achieve this level of expertise with both watercolors, color combination and the usage of inks with your watercolors. Wow, that's pretty good! That's a cool link to that artwork of Kos-Mos. I was in a HUGE Xenosaga cosplay gathering this past AX; we even had the gatling guns (as well as all the other Xeno II Kos-Mos weapons) & even the motorcycle/bike for Kos-Mos.

Great job!! I'm so glad that SOMEONE in the fanart world FINALLY drew the KOS-MOS Archetype ^_^ But can KOS-MOS really be called a character? You know she's a weapon and her personality= 0. Buuuuu~t maybe she can be considered a character at those points when her eyes turn blue, since that's the only time she shows emotion snd any traces of a personality. What do you think?? Also, I really hate her voice in Ep. II, she sounds.. stuck-up (and so did MOMO XD) but in Ep. I, she sounds rather mechanical,just the kind of voice you'd hear from an android.

Thanks for commenting on my Kos-Mos fanart last month. I am glad you like it & it is great to see a Xeno-fan on this site. ^^ Hell yeah, Kos-Mos is a character. She's an android & androids are always characters in any sci-fi thing.

Actually, I like her voice in Episode II...as well as MOMO's (MOMO's Ep. I voice was too shrill for me). I actually love all the VA changes in Episode II. Though, I would have died if they had changed Albedo's voice!!

^^ Watercolour takes time to master. Even I have not mastered it yet. I started practicing with watercolour in...oh...let's see: I think it was 2001 or so. It has taken me 4 years to get to where I am at & I plan on getting better.

you know I never noticed that her hair keeps darkening... I mean sure it's noticable between models 1 & 2 but in the new one I didn't see that...

I haven't even played the second one yet... (okay, I'll admit it didn't finished the 1st one either...) but in anycase...

You did really well with this.... I like how you did all three versions instead of just picking one... Though, you should do more of chaos... (I'm looking for my pic, don't hurt me... ^-^;;; )
