Well, now that I've seen all of Kos' outfits, I decided to do the 2nd part of her "portrait" series. My first Kos-Mos painting is my most popular one! (Thanks everybody!) I hope everybody will like this as well. Because I am an ultimate perfectionist, I realized there are a couple of tiny mistakes, but oh well~!
Her first outfit on the left is from Episode II. She only wears the bathing suit if one equips it on her during battle...I forgot what it does, but I think it might have to do with having her skills go up by 15%? (I haven't played the game in such a long time, not since last summer!) The other two outfits are from Episode III. I know the one on the right isn't 100% accurate, because for one thing, the game hasn't come out yet. Second of all, there is only little reference of it online, save for a few random & kind of awkward screenshots. But I did the best I could! I can't wait until Episode III comes out to North America.

Thanks. As for saying, "Her face is not quite official but I think that's your style". Yes indeed! I am proud to have my own style & that's how I will draw with all fanart. I don't particularly believe in doing fanart 100% exact, striving to look 100% like the original because to me that's kinda boring. I don't like copying...never did copy work. I like it when people do fanart in their unique style. I'm glad you like how I drew her in the swimsuit. That was easy & fun. Thanks once again.

Me too! I can't wait until XenoIII! Thanks for the comment. I'm glad you like how I drew Kos' 4th outfit. That was before I had any real reference of that outfit. Now that I've got good reference, I see some mistakes, but all in all, I got it pretty accurate. :3

Wow, so cool. I really like the details and colors. You seem to have a nack for portraiture. The amazing use of coloring for the background really sets out the divided sections without a border. I find that to be really neat about the picture. Keep up the superb job (^-^)!

Yes, you are right, her last outfit does look like it is based of her Episode I outfit a bit. Yep, only in Episode II does she have the purple in her hair. I like that hair colour on her the best. Glad you like this artwork.

Wait, you mean she changes outfits again, even after her first swap while going to the third game? Why so many, I wonder?
Yeah, the swimsuit ups her stats by around 10-15%. Somewhere in there. I was a little disappointed that if you equipped such a good item, she'd end up wearing it. As neat an effect as it is, I prefer her normal outfits. And I just wish Namco hadn't knuckled under and given KOS-MOS such a chest-revealing outfit in III. She looked fine without it for the first two games.

Yes, she's got another outfit. I saw it in a trailer a while back & thought, "Hmm, what's that?" And just recently, a week ago, I checked out Namco/Monolith Soft's Xenosaga III site & saw the new updates & thought, "Oh, I've gotta draw this even though I don't even know what the heck is going on!"
Oh, thanks for reminding me what her swimsuit does. It's been a while. Last time I played this game was in July last year. Yes, it's kind of odd that the characters wear the suits in battle. At first, I thought, "Cool, they get to wear their beach outfits!", but after a while, I got tired & switched them to their normal gear. Oh yeah, Kos' (and even Shion) show a lot more skin in Episode III.

Yay for Kos-Mos too! Yeah, she's my favourite female character in the game. Some say she has no personality, but to me, she's just a badass character that can kick anybody's arse!
