I hardly have any time to draw anymore because life is busier than ever! This semester is really a killer & the only free time I have I must devote to studying. (Also, free time is needed to see my friends.) This past Sunday I had a chance to paint something.

I haven't done any Sengoku Musou (or "Samurai Warriors", as it's called in North America) fan art in a long time. Saika Magoichi (the guy) and Okuni (the girl) were my two favourite characters when I used to play the game. They were the biggest flirts & players in the game, so I always thought the two of them should get together. (It just seemed so perfect.)

Okay, I know there are a million mistakes in this painting. No need to point it out, really. I love how Magoichi & Okuni came out but I am really not fond of the background. It looks off to me. (This is why I avoid backgrounds!) Are they inside or outside? I don't even know myself. I need more practice with backgrounds. (But they are too time consuming & I don't have time!) ;( And no, that's not palm tree fronds in the corner. It's sadly supposed to be bamboo.

And yes, I didn't finish Magoichi's emblem/crest on his outfit. I can't even tell what it's supposed to be (a bird?), so I just let it be. Oh well, no big deal. I've already drawn Okuni in her default outfit so I decided to put her in her 2nd outfit.

All done with my Japanese watercolours, of course.

I'll have better artwork coming up soon. I've got a nice picture (which I barely begun inking last night) coming up. I'll probably submit it next week. Also, I'll have something else tommorow...very, very simple but cute. ^_^
