Description This isn't KOS-MOS! This is T-Elos from the upcoming Japanese video game Xenosaga Episode III. (Lucky Japan gets it in June, while the rest of us wait in eternity for it!) I really don't know much of this character except that she definetaly isn't the good guy, er, girl. ^_^ T-Elos is definetaly one of the bad people in the game...or shall I say: android. That's all I really know about her, that she's an android that seems to be hell bent on kicking Kos-Mos arse for some reason. She really reminds me of the Archtype KOS-MOS in the Episode I flashbacks.

Anyway, I hope ya'll like this. This painting was a total pain because of all the shiny armour. I'm also dissapointed in my background once again. I really didn't know what to put. Eventually, I figured an approaching storm front would seem suitable for a character that seems dark & evil, but the result wasn't what I had hoped for. Clouds really are a challenge to draw!

Drawn with acrylic inks & then coloured in with Japanese watercolours.

You're going to cosplay as T-elos? That's awesome! I haven't cosplayed since July 2007. I've been so busy. I miss doing it. Hopefully soon I will get some free time & then I can work on new cosplay.

Thank you so much. T-elos is a wicked yet awesome character. She's so evil. Just last month a friend of mine cosplayed T-elos (and it was 100% accurate) & I was Ep2 Kos-Mos. ^_^

Wow, thanks for commenting on this. I'm glad you like how I coloured in and shaded (and added shine) to the skin. I like practicing with skin-tones & working with the shading/lightning on them. Thanks for adding this is a (and also for favouring my Kos-Mos fanart). I'm pleased you like my artwork.

The details are so intricate! even the UMN cannon on her head is awesome! I love this picture. The android, and the background compliment each other, and even the pose is good.

Thanks a lot for this comment. This was before I played Xeno3, so I did the best I could with limited reference. I finally got Xeno3 about a month ago & beat it about 1.5 weeks ago, so now I'm totally inspired to do more Xeno3 fanart. Hopefully I can submit some more artwork in the near future! (Life is crazy-busy!)

I used to have official images of her, until my computer at home decided to get ill with a virus, thus deleting everything off my computer. I found them on the official Japanese Xenosaga site & another Japanese gaming site called Gamecity.

Again, amazing work!!! My favourite part of this picture is detail in the sky (being a stargazer ) I love the crescent moon behind the clouds I also the like her shiny legs!!

Yay~! I'm so glad you like the sky. Ah, the moon...I tried to get the effect right, but the moon in the sky [during the day] isn't exactly easy [for me] to replicate. At the end, I was getting impatient & it came out looking a tad bit rushed. But, I am happy you like it.

Ooh, T-elos looking fun and evil hehehe. She came out great! I like the background too--actually, I like the clouds; what would make it look more ominous would maybe be a darker sky in the background, and not blue? But either way, great job ^^

Thanks Eliza. Wow, I'm glad you believe the background/sky fits the character. Yeah, she does seem like a dark person, so that's why I decided an oncoming stormfront would suit her. I'm only assuming what her personality is like...can't wait until the actual game comes out! Then & there will it prove my assumption of T-Elos to be correct or not.

As always the details are great! The colors you used for her skin is really eyecatching but it looks a bit like rubber... It migh have something to do with all the little highlights, I'm not sure. Maybe if you put some white highlighting in her face aswell it will blend in better?

So it's the face that you find a bit off, or is it all of her skin in general? I find that colouring darker skin is such a nightmarish pain-in-the-arse for me. The effect never comes out right. Lighter skin is so much easier, because the highlights are better, but on dark skin, it's just...o_x. Thanks for pointing it out, though. So you think that white highlighting on the face would make the overall appearance look better?

I believe it's the skin in general. In this case I would have suggested that you mixed in a blue or purple tone for the shading since the sky is kind of cloudy and a blue color would add a cool effect to her skin

Thank you~! I'm glad you like my watercolouring. Awww, don't say that about yourself. There are just different types & style in the way a person uses watercolour. I like to use mine where I use heavier pigments on the people themselves & more "pastel"-like on the background sometimes, like in this painting. Well, you say that my work helps? If so, then I am happy that you look at my artwork in that way.
