3/09/09 Update! Please visit my new gallery at

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Before anything, I just want everybody (that I watch & who watches me) to know that I'm sorry I've been so slow at commenting on your artwork. I'm still am not used to this terrible version of DA. Trying to view deviations is a nightmare for me & the other day I accidently deleted a lot of the deviations in the "Deviations" section, so I think I'll have to visit everybody's galleries one by one....

Okay....

I've noticed that Disney fan artwork seems very (and I mean VERY) popular. I've run out of fan art ideas so I've kinda jumped onto the Disney Bandwagon. I got inspired by the people who especially draw Disney characters in their own style. One big influence is who has drawn a Disney Princess in her own style (and is awesome...you should go visit her gallery, she's amazing!). I also got inspired by , who draws Disney in true Disney style, but she's great. She drew sketches of the stepsister in Cinderella, so that gave me an idea to introduce my 1st Disney fan artwork of...

Drizella & Anastasia Tremaine! I wanted to make them pretty though (because I don't want to draw them ugly). I wanted them to look rather smug and arrogant. I based their outfits mostly on the Disneyland/Disneyworld (not sure which one) version: [link] Also, as well as elements from the movie version (when they are going to the ball) and I added a few touches of originality as well.

I hope everybody likes this. I will have more Disney fan artwork to come.

Drawn with black India Ink & coloured in with Prismacolor coloured pencils.

Drizella and Anastasia Tremaine (C) Disney
Fan art (C) J.E.McNeese

To Art Thieves: Please do not copy or steal this image. Do not base artwork of of these original designs. Do not copy or alter the designs or create them as yours. Be original. Copying other people's artwork is not flattery nor it is smart. It's actually illegal and called plagerism!

I love all your art. You really should do a fairy tale book.

A Fairy Tale book? Ah, I wouldn't know what to come up with (writing)...unless you mean doing illustrations for a story? If so, thanks...I am flattered you say so.

Why thank you, I'm flattered that you say so (about learning from me). That really means a lot to me. I'm happy that you say it is detailed; I was practing more with shading & lighting on clothing.

Thanks for being the 1st to put a on this. Yeah, I decided to make them pretty. I really didn't want to make them look so horrid (as they do in the movie). I'm glad you like my version of them.

no problem, I didn't like how they looked in the movie either.

Ah, looking at them you would never tell that they acted in such a manner to Cinderella.
Though, it's all the step-mother's fault -shakes fist- xD I really like it when artists take a character and draw them in their own style.
Nicely done.

You are more than likely right about the Stepmother influencing the sisters to behave badly toward Cinderella. She definitely encourages it. Thanks on the great comment on this. It is fun to draw the characters in my style...I really don't believe in copying somebody elses style. I more than likely can draw them in Disney style but I'd rather drawn them my own way.

I really respect that thought. It's nice to watch people develop their own style of drawing.
xD Coming from me, it's doesn't give that much of an effect. I'm always changing my style around to find one that suits me.

That's good (changing styles to find one that suits you). My older artworks (and styles) have changed. Even when I 1st joined DA back in 2005, my drawings from then are different from now (mostly in the way I do proportions, pose, & lighting/shading).

Aloha! Thanks for being the 1st to comment on this. I'm happy that you say the dresses are detailed. I wanted to make them prettier than the original version (since those colours were so drab).
