Goodness, sometimes I have the most unoriginal titles for artwork.
Well, here is the 2nd to the last fan art I'm going to be uploading. After my last, then it's originals. I've always liked Penelo's outfit in the ending movie. Recognize it a bit? I did the Revenant Wings Penelo & the RW Penelo has a similar outfit, but this outfit (in the picture) is the one from the ending of FF12 & it's x3 more detailed.
I always thought Vaan & Penelo would make a cute pair, though it is never really indicated (in the game) if they are official a pair or not.I decided to make Vaan look more manly. He's got such a pretty boy look to him. The ending of the game is a year after the main storyline (of the game), so Vaan & Penelo would be 18 years old. So I most defintely wanted to make Vaan look more of that age.
Drawn with coloured India Inks & coloured in with Prismacolour coloured pencils. As I've done before, I "cheated" by using the paintbucket (in Photoshop) to colour in the sky. :-p

Wow...thank you so much for this comment! I'm glad you think I'm good at anatomy. Anatomy is very hard to master & I have so much to learn still. I bought an anatomy book a few months ago & it has been a huge help. My current artwork is a whole lot better than my older artwork.

You are great with the little details, really stunning picture, and I love the colour composition here 
I like Penelo's ending belly dancer outfit as well, but well, her outfit would probably be too striking if it was used throughout the entire game

Thanks! Glad you like the colours. But I must ask you: Does the artwork appear to look pixelated? Maybe it's the computer I'm on but right now I'm looking at my art, thinking, "Why does it appear to look so rough?"

Lol, glad you think it's perfectly fine to "cheat" on the sky. I don't know what happened, but when I scanned the picture, the sky looked mottled and very pixelated. So I just decided to use the paintbucket on Photoshop & fill in the sky.

Thanks! I'm pleased that you noticed the shading on the skin. In this picture, I tried to incorporate more realistic shading elements to their skin (rather than the usual style I work with). Primacolour pencils are really great to blend together, so it helps a lot with skin shading. With watercolour, it's a lot harder & definitely more challenging.
