(oil in canvas, 13 x 19inches, Sept 2005)my latest oil painting... my reference was a postcard of Beautiful White Birch trees in Japan.
oh well, it's been a while since I painted non-abstracts and to be honest, I'm really not satisfied on how this piece turned out... the color is a mess and I wasn't able to show justification to the lovely postcard image I used as reference >_< ...uwaahh~ sorry~~~

I don't like the sky! It it too blue - you must observe it! Then you will see that sky isn't clear blue

...*sigh* actually, I didn't like the blueness of the blue, the greeness of the green and browness of the brown as well! hahah! ...oh well... and actually, those blue in the background were supposed to be like uhh... birch trees silhouette from the fog >_< the sky was supposed to be the white part... 
..oh well, I'll try harder next time... Thanks a lot!

well, it looks good, except for the background (i.e. the bluetone and how it's been turned on the canvas)...

sigh~ I know... I personally don't like how it turned out as well... >_< those bluetone were supposed to be like "birch-trees-behind-the-fog" ...huhuhu~ ...didn't even thought there was supposed to be fog in there, huh? >_<

haha~ yep, that darn sky... haha... ang sky lang talaga dyan ay yung white part, those blue on the bg were supposed to be tree silhouettes.. hehehe...
