Wow, this is so cool. I do have a question, though: Where did you learn the specific alchemical symbols, like the hook near the bottom and the knotwork? Because I'm having trouble finding good lists and meanings of alchemical symbols.

I'm not gonna lie, but most of my original sources have actually been taken offline for quite a while. I managed to find some of them and have saved them as individual image files, and I'd be happy to email the collection to you.
It may take a while to find good sources, but if you search by Google or Bing, you're bound to come across something. When trying to find symbols for something specific, it can help to word your search terms as simply and clearly as possible.
As for the more abstract symbols, it comes from just very persistence research. I'm a huge history buff, and love to read up on the mythologies of various religions and cultures, so a lot of symbols I use come from history knowledge. Alchemy is like Magic, in that it is inspired by many sources, and can be expanded to encompass even more sources of information.
When it comes to more chemical specific Arrays, I use the chemical symbols devised by my Alchemy teacher, , who has lots of references and tutorial in his gallery.

No, the earth is represent by the staff-like line through the triangle near the bottom of the pentagon. The celtic knot was used as a symbol for energy circulation I think...its been a while since I made this one I don't quite remember my reasoning for the knot.
