Description
Wheeee... this is what I loooove to make with Origami. This one is called Five intersecting Teterahedra. Hmm... I think this is the third time I've used this paper for a dA model. Ah well. It now resides in my geometry teacher's classroom.-AznReject9

A reverse fold is created by folding through 2 layers of paper and then pushing the excess in between the layers. a reverse fold doesn't create extra creases; it's entirely made from previous ones. if you lift the left flap up slightly, you should see 3 creases. Push the middle crease down. the crease in the back should be fine. However, the crease in front will have to change directions, or reverse, from a valley fold to a mountain fold.
I can't tell how much origami you've done Let me know if you need further explanation

Nice work on the FIT, I was never compelled to stop being lazy and try one myself

FIT is definitely not for the impatient. But... it's SO rewarding to see the final product.

I never had a problem keeping the corners together. If I had to guess, i'd say there's an inaccuracy in your sixty degree fold. I did run into a problem sometimes when a side would buckle on itself. I fixed it with thicker paper. This one is made with cardstock instead of the traditional origami paper.

Just wondering, how in the world did you get each individual tetrahedra to stay together? I made this model a while back and ended up having to tape the pieces together because the model would collapse every time I would try to insert another piece of paper.
It looks great!

FIT models are always stunning to look at. I can bother AznReject3 to post some of the ones she made. Her paper is usually patterned while my stuff is usually solid and organized into some sort of color scheme.

Thank you very much This is probably the most time consuming model I've ever learned. Thanks again for stopping by.
