Imagine a buffer taller Ryu in SF8. With lots of SCARS. Older but not yet "OLD'D." Maybe a future DLC costume. I came up with the design and my friend helped me out with it.- MS Paint

Thank you man. Capcom's art Akiman drew him with a beard and I figure he must have been thinking of Ryu's future as well. I just updated the picture with Akiman's sketch.

Haha thank you! I wish he'd age something like this. I remember we asked Ono about possibly doing a beard Alt (2 of Capcom's top artists have done Ryu with a beard) but he said Ryu would look so old. Ryu can have a slightly older look, with the beard, and hey it's an Alt anyway. I would hate for Ryu to never progress towards his goal.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah they tend to keep Ryu relatively the same each time. His ending is that he's always searching to find the answers. It'd be nice to see a little change and progression atleast by SF5
