This piece truly is wonderful. I, having never read the "I am Legend" novel myself, don't have much to say on how it relates, but the shading, the visual and detail is outstanding. I have nothing negative to say about the art, I can see absolutely no mistakes. Your art is skillful, it really shows your skill as an artist. Honestly, if I was the author I would make this the cover myself. Normally I am very critical of art, but this is an exception. I adore the color's you chose for the theme, the setting is beautiful, not to mention (again) the detail. Everything is put into extreme perspective as to how impressive this image is. This is a masterpiece.

I like it a lot, it's rich in detail and at first glance you can figure out what's going on. It also kind of makes the viewer feel lonely and isolated. But I'm not really not the person to critique landscape art. As you have probably noticed I only really draw creatures so I can't give the best advice. But I suggest watching the 2006 film, Paprika. There is quite a bit of detail and thought put into those backgrounds. It's good if you're looking for entertainment and inspiration. (Also it never hurts to try new things. Try leaving your usual subject matter and experiment.)

This piece reminds me of the fall of major cities, knowing that this is a I am Legend book cover i say that was accomplished very well. I am impressed with your use of lines and perspective in this piece.
The post apocalyptic them was easily captured with your use of broke window and tattered banners. Even the flooding in the streets has this dramatic sense of loss.
The focus however seems to draw my attention more towards the back. the bridge looks cut off from the rest of the piece. Maybe try to use elements of movement and balance to draw my eyes all over the piece.
Overall this is a well executed piece with lots of detail that makes the piece fun to look at. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Keep doing what you enjoy.

The designs, buildings, bridge, towers, structures, architecture, streets, character, dog, expressions, poses, sky, clouds, sunlight, city signs, ruins, vehicles, rainwater, reflections, flock of birds, creatures, rays, shadows, gleam, flow, effects, decor, smoke, moss, plant life, apocalyptic signs, dawn, movement, atmosphere, perspective, realisticness, composition, concept, uniqueness, lighting, colors, style, and other details are also sensational!
