Description
The AMX-50 was a project with the intent of creating a heavy tank, based on the knowledge gained from studies with German armored units. Following the french standard of the era, it was initially equipped with a 100mm autoloading cannon, however, to match the advancements of the heavies of the era, it was upgraded with a 120mm cannon with the same system, but with a bigger turret. Like the previous projects based on the B-C, it was discarded in favor of the AMX 30 MBT.
