Especially these galaxies who look just like wisps of gas off the Milky Way but are actually SATELLITE GALAXIES

Jasper: The Large and Small Magellanic Clouds
The background is actually Hubble photos of sections of the large and small Magellanic clouds overlayed onto one another. The Magellanic Clouds are one of our closest galactic neighbors, and are within the Milky Way's Local Group. They are easily seen in non-polluted night skies, and appear as two nebula-like clouds of gas. They are named after the explorer Ferdinand Magellan, who was one of the first to attempt to circumnavigate the globe (he was killed in the Philippines before completing the journey), even if both have been recorded by astronomers since AD. 964. These irregular galaxies inspire both awe and wonder, and hold such treasures as the Tarantula Nebula. There is a bridge of gas between the small and large clouds, so the two galaxies interact closely.
