Monarch butterflies have really amazing colors and I usually look for any reason to get out my wonderful orange paint. I wish all my tubes were that bright.

I had painted with some different colors last night to get some brighter colors going. (Like my orange) I found that W&N Mauve, Winsor Yellow, and Carmine makes some great colors together. I painted a fairy with them last night and it is eye bugging! Gonna paint some really bright goth later tonight.

Well I have to say; I love this art cause she is a spring mermaid to me. She sit on the grass where the flowers are. She look very relaxing and enjoy those butterflies. I really love the butterflies sit on her hair. It really cute.
This is the best one. Can't wait to see more mermaids in the future!

Thank you. She's was supposed to be really relaxed looking. The size was really tight so I didn't want to look like the butterfly was threatening being so close to her face.
