Taking in the sights, smells, sounds, tastes, and textures,
Only one canvas has been given,
None the same as any other persons,
Recording events based on views from where;
you happen to stand,
you are in life,
you are in mind,
you can see.
Time passing over the same line over again,
Changing pieces as they go.
what you've been told mends them,
til' events not so long before become muddled.
how far back can you see?
Clearly, undistorted, unmutilated.
Time, like photographs remember all things,
But when does it loose connection with itself,
Changing ways of heroes,
changing names, obligations, duties, dynamics, moral, virtues.
What is time now but a memory of prejudice, judgments, and accusations,
take back your memories, turn back time,
Remember as you are,
don't paint another line,
Fill the canvas, with things so small and dear,
and large and grand,
and beautiful and elegant,
and ugly and dreadful,
know the difference between good and evil,
Don't blur any longer, don't mix.
keep it distinct, your memory sharp.
Don't let it fade behind other men's paint,
don't let it fade because of any stretch of time,
Don't fade away.
