Description
I tried to clean this drawing up as much as I could. I think its something that would look better inked and colored.Here is my tribute to Return to New York.
P.S. First Triceraton than I've ever drawn that didn't look God Awful.
Edit: Few thins I noticed looking at this again. Raph's right leg is off, as well as Zog's hands being two different sizes. The lack of background... meh. I'm trying harder at them lol.
Any other criticism, constructive or not, is very welcome.

Heh City at War is the best arc in any version of the Turtles. To be honest Raph is my least favorite anymore though.

Considering the overall structure of the piece and the raw power you can feel from it, I think the leg and hand thing is pretty minor. It's an awesome tribute.

I've got very little inking experience traditionally. Although I find it quicker than inking digitally. But digitally has room for errors and oops.

i agree on Raph's legs, i noticed that too, his left leg (our right) looks good but then his other one looks different like his knee in a different place than his other leg. i'd also watch out for Zog's hand that's holding the gun, it doesn't look quite like he's actually gripping an object both the way his fingers are and the perspective the gun is at. and another perspective thing, Raph's left sai (our right) looks like it's coming toward us, but his hand is at the opposite perspective angle, like we're looking up at his hand while it's somehow pointing the sai at the camera.
still an amazing piece, though, with great character designs and mood, it's got awesome energy.

Gritty is awesome. I'm still convinced that that is the reason the first live movie was such a success (at least that is the reason *I* loved it so much).

I agree with you on the gritty factor. Number 2 was just too silly and light hearted for me. Not ever any real danger. Like I like number 2, but no where even close to the first film.

I meant in the actual comic Zog's horn is bandaged. I thought it was snapped off. So I made the mistake lol.

My detail is sloppy I think though. Instead of correcting mistakes, I just draw harder over them and try to cover them lol.

learning alternatives is fine, but hatching/cross hatching is a method that gives such beautiful and gritty detail. its an art staple
