Hey, I'm fromΒ Project Comment.
*Keep in mind these are my opinions, nothing I say is meant to discourage you. You do not have to agree to anything I say, and that is totally fine.*
I love the shading you have done with this drawing. It really does fit in with the dark atmosphere! I always wanted to know how to shade properly in most of my drawings and by looking st this drawing, I think im beginning to get an understanding of how to.
I love the way you made the blood, it actually looks like real blood from an actual injury. Also the lack of lighting, only lighting being on the girl's face really fits in the dark situation in the drawing. You've done a really good job on this! ^^

hello !! im from project comment <33 my comments are not intended to hurt your feelings c:
let me start off with what I really like; i love the emotion conveyed and sad expression used in this drawing! its done really effectively and the tone really gets through to me. im also a fan off the color scheme. the dark, grey-scale colors with simple splashes of red and purple look super good together! however, to improve i would definitely recommend adding more texture to the hair (either with lines or cell-shading!) instead of just a flat color or two. another thing that could be improved is the lineart. it's very messy in some parts (such as the bottom of the bangs and hair) and not as messy (in the face shape, nose, and eyes). to fix that, i would just keep the lineart consistent (either messy lines throughout or clean lines throughout!). Also, lack of symmetry is a thing im noticing in this piece too (this is a minor nitpick). The jaw seems a bit uneven as does the nose. I feel like a stabilizer tool would be very helpful for you! It would fix the shaky lines and messy lineart (although personally i'm a fan of messy lineart lol) Besides this, Im a big fan of this drawing! It really makes me curious as to what might happen next in this comic! Nice job.

With that kept in mind, let me start. Overall I really like this piece. I especially admire the contrast between the eyes and the rest of the colors. The bruise especially stands out, however could be blended a little more into the skin. If I were to change anything, it would most likely be the lineart. First off, the lines are messy. If you don't already use a stabilizer, I highly recommend it. Secondly, the jawline in the second panel is a little lopsided. Unless this was your intention, it draws some attention from the rest of the face. I also recommend looking at references of actual people to create their facial features, seeing as the anatomy seems unnatural, as well as choosing a specific light source. The hair seems to be a little flat, and could use some loose strands. It seems as if it is matted, but the highlights make it seem as if light is bouncing off it, whereas it starts to cause some confusion as to how its supposed to be.Β
I like the color scheme and once again admire how the eyes and blood stand out. The hook definitely is interesting, and personally makes me ponder what happens in the rest of the story. I urge you to continue this comic, and look forward to possibly reading more. Β

There's some great emotion in this piece! Nice work!
The linework is a little sloppy, so you should take your time with that.
