Commissions are extremely hard pressing on me. I tend to burnout incredibly fast and I envy those artists that can just keep going and producing the same caliber of art time after time. I just crash and burn and go into long periods of creating nothing.
But anyway, AC, Ive been getting threats of bodily harm if I don't go XD. I skipped this year and Im not sure about next year. It costs me almost a grand to just go to that con and I did poorly sale wise the last 2 years that I did go..made a teensy profit and a ton of stress. One of these days Id love to go to a con as just an attendee and not having to sell anything XD.

I easilly get burnt out, thus burning me out COMPLETELY... making it impossible to get anything personal on paper. That is the sad part. Looks like we're in the same darn boat.
I just got to the point where commissions need to stop for a while. Extra money from arting is no problem since I've been working with Club Stripes whenever I can... so that fills in for commission/internet monies. Even so, I haven't produced anything new for them either. *shrug*
Losing the abillity to create your own stuff is disabling, and can be very depressing... that's why artsy folks need to take breaks sometimes.
I seriously envy those artists that can just produce and produce FOREVER and not get burnt out! That takes nerves of steel. I don't know about you, but after I make ONE decent picture I get exausted XD.
Either way, take care of yourself in that respect. Now that I think of it, I'm not sure about AC myself either

Your calendar is beautiful through and through. It's really lovely to see werewolves portrayed as beautiful, majestic, and gentle as appose to brutal and blood thirsty.
