Edward Nigma aka the Riddler, one of Batman's greatest rogues. a personal favorite of mine, he has been portrayed by actors Frank Gorshin (the best!), John Astin & Jim Carey (but i try to forget about that lol). in animation he has been played by Michael Bell, John Glover and Robert Englund (another fav of mine). he was created by Bill Finger & Dick Sprang, first appearing in 'Detective Comics' # 140, released in 1948Related content

The Riddler is just my favorite of all the Gotham villains. I love your definition of him - "he's the Thinking Man's rogue".

thanx, so glad u like it. Riddler's always been a fav of mine. Frank Gorshin was AWESOME on the 60s tv series & i thought Robert Englund did a great job voicing him in 'the Batman'
