when I went to the lens effect glow setup and selected preview and vp queue, the application crashed
I have to start all over again :c
but, I want to know if you know why did that happen?

well it could just be Windows or something with the memory? May not occur every time. Usually, the program will just take longer to do something but won't crash.

that's my result 
when I rendered the image, the "light beam" emitted by the omni light, was kind of pixelated, like when you set something in Dissolve mode in Photoshop
I also got a lot of pixelated "stairs"
I don't know what I should tweak to get rid of those things
I did manage to get through it with Photoshop, but it's not the same...
so yeah... Again, awesome tutorial! thanks for sharing your knowledge

Hello Boxer! Which part do you need help in? Once you practice the tutorial through at least once, you would be able to create similar effects. You will need to go through the tutorial first.

i was speaking to my teacher, i wanted to make something glow, and he said he didnt really know how because they way they do it is like a 2d effect after the render, this however isnt, he said the only way he knew by scripts, so im gonna go to my teacher and go, HA, i know how, then write this down for him so he knows when he does his work

Hey hey! The glow is actually done AFTER the render! It's not like the glow is due to light bouncing of dust particles! LOL..
