Grau meets a wolf named Monarch for the first time, thinking he's a challenger.

This is a frame from my story, 'The Wolves of Terokei'.
Grau is from a clan of wolves named Terokei, who lives on one of seven islands packed with different clans. Terokei is a place of endless snow, and the wolves there are the strongest of warriors. Males have horns, females do not, and are usually white or cream in color; 'Cept for Grau. Grau is on a quest to regain peace among all of the islands and become Land Alpha (Alpha of all of the islands.)

Monarch is from the island of Papillon, which means butterfly in French. The island of Papillion is the island of peace and serenity. It holds the season of Spring, and part of Summer. That's where they are at the moment, in one of the beautiful fields at sunset (WHICH TOOK ME A LONG TIME. D:< ) Males have butterfly or moth like markings that glow at night, and females have attenae and glowing back markings in the shape of wings.
