Description
This installation is reminiscent of butterfly or insect collections that people mount on walls. But there is something eerie and disturbed about 'The Collection' as the broken parts of wax creatures are on display and the frames are all askew.

I think it also questions the importance of the frame in the gallery space.

*This was part of a series of room installations for my Earth, Object, Installation exploratory project. The models are cast from hot wax.
