Description
We first notice the handcuffs hanging from a beam. And then perhaps our eye is drawn to the leather flogger or the crop by its side. In the background an empty cage, and, nearer, a naked man is chained to a firm wooden support ready for a whipping. What the slave knows (and we do not) is that the cane and the whip are not hanging from that beam right now...*
I'm actually not really happy with this picture, mostly because it does not match my original conception. I may try again with a different lens.
