Description
This is a piece I did for an exhibition of my calligraphy last year at a computer conference (!).I wrote out the opening of T S Eliot's Four Quartets, a very mystical and difficult poem, on tracing paper (called "vellum" in the US) using broad-edged calligraphic felt tip marker pens, and mounted it over a page of an unbound 18th century Italian book, showing through dimly to give a sense of history (Ok, so it's a bit hokey but it looks cool); the whole thing is approx 50x75cm (18" x 30" I think).
Photogaphed by my husband with his Olympus 2500L digital SLR.
For some reason deviantArt makes me choose between poetry, calligraphy, and mixed media; this piece belongs in all three categories.

Man, I LOVE calligraphy. So much so, that I'm actually using it in an art project I've got on the go. Kudos to you for being awesome at it!

Thank you! Mostly I think it takes practice, and perhaps a little Spirit.
