Description Down deep into the bowels of the earth, the stairs go on and on, down and down, and with every footstep it feels like it would be harder to return.

Taken inside a tower (some say 900 years old, others 1,000, other 800 years) in Bologna, in Italy.

I get tired just looking down those stairs I love how worn they are though, craftsmanship was the norm rather than the exception

There might have been a teensy bit of photo-manipulation here On the other hand the stairs did seem very solid, and they _did_ go down an awful long way. Or up, depending on how you looked at it! Thanks for commenting and for faveing!

Love these kind of shots, colors are soothing but the off kilter stairs gives a great feeling of depth due to the asimetry.
