Description
A photo taken on stage, but not during a concert actually.Barbara, Simon and Carla of Trio Biscate (see On Stage - 9 ) asked me to have a shoot for their portfolio, so we spent a whole sunday shooting in a theatre. After a couple of sessions of "serious" poses, the girls got dressed in white and took a can of paint each. The idea was to photograph them painting each other, as a metaphore of the
way their voices mix in their music: however, they started joking and went beyond intentions soon, so... things became a bit messy and we had no more plans or poses. I had to jump on the stage and shoot like mad.
In a word: this shot was not planned at all. Far from being technically perfect, it renders quite well the atmosphere of those funny, yet creative moments.

White is like a blank canvas, give someone a pot of paint & the fun begins regardless of age or professionalism.
This reminds me of fingerpainting as a child, more paint on the child then on the paper.
