It must have been a honor to see Joe Zawinul and listen him live on stage.
I did not get to see him although he was in Romania.
What a great musician.
Nice view of the whole band

I love this shot---like those drums---nice assortment of musicians there.
My passion is music and I play alto sax (although art has done a # on my practicing the horn). Was a club drummer many years ago.
Played a few community bands like 60 pc orchrestra's---but I havent done that either for about 2 years. I do soloes in the church once in a while. Feel alittle guilty that I don't do it more---but I am the choir ---so that makes me feel alittle less guilty about the sax lol

thanks
i am happy that this pic is appreciated by a real musician... music is my passion also, but i never managed to learn an instrument, just played drums a bit when i was young.

maybe you can take one up now? Why not? lol You sing at all? You enjoy that? What instrument would you like to play if you could. You have the string family----keyboards----horns---woodwings. I believe 100% that too many people match themselves with the wrong Instrument and quit music pretty much forever.
I was always good with the wind instruments---my first one was trumpet. Give me strings and I believe I'd never be any good---know what I mean?

lol... yes i understand
i played drums and i would like to play drums again if ever should i have a chance. i quit not because a mismatch between me and the instrument, but rather between the instrument and my parents and neighbours
i always lived in flats, the only way to play drums would be electronic drums and a headphone... who knows, my daughter feels a sort of attraction for drums, if she starts learning i will possibly follow

that would be great. I'm teaching my son the sax at this time. He's been playing years already---he's 11

very cool. I'd not have thought this was 6 pics. Joe Zawinul is one of my favourite musicians and composers...and they have a contra bassoon!!!

thanks
an electric bass was played on some compositions. it was a wonderful concert, even if it was a little distant from zawinul's usual style.
