I was never really satisfied with the way the original Version turned out. So here's a new one very similar to the one in my 2008 Calendar. Hope you like it. I think it's better than the old version.Comments +

The colours are gorgeous!
I think the terrain looks a bit smooth, and would probably look better if it were roughed up a bit. Other than that the planets and spacescape is really freaking awesome mate

hey thx man. yeah i scaled the hightfield from 512 to 1024 in terragen, which is why it probably turned out a bit smooth. i made the hightfeld with worldmachine, and in the unregistered you can only creatie hightfields with 512 or less.

Ah, I see how it is.
If it really bothered you, you could just go in in photoshop and create rougher texture with like... Smudge or clone stamp or something... But that requires time, and effort and stuff
If it was me I'd leave it cause its beautiful the way it is, but thats just me, and I'm a lazy ass
