Last week I posted a drawing of an anthro Rarity in a sword and the sorcerer type armored bikini . At the time I stated that I got the image from a dream I had when I was sick. Here's another image from that dream
In the dream along with dragon riders there was also a group of warriors called the Wolf Lancers who rode dire wolfs. Applejack was a Wolf Lancer but she rode a gigantic version of Winona instead.
Like many 1970/80s fantasy book covers, heavy metal album covers, and quite a few RPG games the female warriors obviously all took the rule option of Bulletproof Nudity. This dream apparently worked under the same rules.

Would say that Winona is not a very happy camper here. Not happy at all, which is at variance with her characterization in the show. When I first saw this I thought of that old DC comic "Atomic Knights" with their giant Dalmatians. 'Axe

Elvish Probability Armour.
It started with full armour but no helmet, and those danged elves wove spells that made attacks to the head veer off and miss, or hit the solid part of the armour.
And then it became competitive, "I can make the spells stronger than you can"
Until we get to what we have now. Skimpy lingerie and one or two small, solid chunks of metal that, no matter where you try to hit, all your arrows and blades and claws veer around and clang off that vestigal hunk of metal.

I love this picture; everything about it is awesome. Heck I even think of AJ as being some swords-and-sorcery character myself sometimes. She really is a golden Amazon.
But I really do wonder what AJ herself would think of this interpretation of her.

I'm not sure why, but AJ's pose and expression put me in mind of Lanzinger's 'Der Bannerträger' -- the same sort of 'superior individual' presentation, albeit not the messianic overtones of Lanzinger's piece.

As to the "Bulletproof Nudity" thing, I remember the Heavy Metal movie, as well as Red Sonja, and her chain-mail bikini.
Which afforded bit LESS protection than what AJ's wearing here.
