So, I figured I'd post of a collection of sketches, the sorts of things that are still 'in processing', or maybe just details; given that I normally have the posting schedule of a glacier. So here it is! These are a few sketches after I've applied my usual scanning methods (I have custom preferences and everything!). Some of these are based on other's images, which... would take a fair bit of effort to track down and link... but these pictures themselves are all my own drawing, not traced. It's not exactly masterful, I do a bit of correcting on the computer... which is part of the reason it takes so long...

Top Left: Cotton (short for Cotton Candy, she's a fairly opaque pink color), also a character from one of the many silly things I've done. She's one of the 'Flavor Assassins', half-demon 'goo girls' working/belonging to a succubus queen. Also based on an extant picture, but more or less entirely redrawn in rather different pose - specifically, I was going for two things - a somewhat 'liquid' appearance, and pouted lips, like she was blowing a kiss. I... may or may not have succeeded, but practice is practice. The censor bar is in place because I tried to post it to Dreamwidth via Imageshack - it didn't work, but, hey, it prevents it from being full Strict Restriction.

Top Right: Silencer III, a weapon vaguely involved in a fanfic (not that one) I've been considering. Sketched as the result of a concept binge, thinking about what serious military hardware would look like in this universe (assuming the people involved were... you know... competent. It's might not be fancy looking enough, but I think for the faction that actually uses it, it's pretty good...

Bottom Right: Nicole Harper, from my Parthenogenesis universe. Mostly there to show off the clothes, though it might be a little hard to see in this picture - I wanted to get a picture of what might be considered 'casual' clothes in that universe. Short answer - they like rather fancy blouses, folds, pleats, and flowing garments. And, of course, buttons and precious metals everywhere. Also, shoulderpads. Closer to business casual than our everyday wear, but still comfortable enough.

Bottom Center: This is Ryene, an NPC from a former D&D campaign... who was never actually actually introduced, but anyways... she's a servant of the goddess of life, transformed into a kind of plant-person because Reasons. This was based off an existing image, but altered a fair bit, especially regarding the expression, and the hair was altered a bit... simplified, really. The clothes were also made a bit more covering... yes, this is the *less* skimpy version. The right foot sort of... didn't happen, but overall, it's pretty good, although I suppose I didn't change all that much, just redrew the image with some tweaks...

Bottom Left: An attempt at doing more of a 'group scene', since I don't do those very often, also, likenesses! This is, (Right to left), Ginga, Teana, and Subaru from MGLN - the idea is that it takes place some time before StrikerS, at a beach during leave from Basic Training. I... Overall, I like this, though there are many problems - the most obvious being that I made Ginga's neck too long originally (Ginga is really the one I'm least satisfied with), and had to shorten it in post (since I didn't want to redraw...). Subaru's... thong... would be atypical, but there are particular reasons for it I don't really want to get into...
