Something about this fascinates me...I feel a bit like I've just stepped into someone's bedroom by mistake.
The nailpolish is a bit distracting, but I love the natural feeling of this pose.
I'd love to see you work with some female athletes - you have the right sense of lighting and the skill to do them justice. Even your 'average women' show great strength.

I like the fact that she looks like a REAL PERSON.
And why do people (like BrainDigger, for instance) find fault in nudity being presented at an art site? Every picture that is chosen for DD does not fulfill -everyone's- ideal of what art should be - just as every nude is not going to appeal to EVERY person. e_e Besides which, nudity is a part of life and people are too prudish anyway. I think it'd be a lark if -every- DD was a nude!!

I really think they just take nudes for those DDs for fun...
Not to desrespect you... But I don't exactly get what's so artistic in this photography... She's not even posing a very good arch... At least if she did something really impressive, like creating a PERFECT arch with her body... But I just don't UNDERSTAND what's the big deal about this.
The thing about nudes is that they are supposed to be sexually attractive and yet tasteful, and not just dirty and pornographic, right? Well, I don't quite see that coming up.
But I don't know... I just don't know much about photography and what looks good in reality. After all, I'm just an anime artist who likes drowning himself in immagination... Personally, if I was to try photography, it'd either me doing some weird things, like poppoing out all of my bones and vains or twisting my body in strange ways... But I'd probebly end up in photo manipulation... I just don't get the point of nude photography as it's seen on DA...

This is excellent, mainly because it IS exactly what Domai.com TRYS to do... Which is, of course, to create a nude photograph that isn't sexual, but at the same time retains the sensuality and beauty of the model. Also very impressive is your use of the "spotlight" lighting. It is reminiscent (to me, at least) of how the same lighting technique is used in the film "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" - that is, it creates a sense of loss, and the fear of losing what is valued. (Which I suppose in this case would be - to tie it all back together - the beauty and sensuality.)
And to remove all analytic thinking, and to state my personal opinion - this is a gorgeous photo of a beautiful model, and it's now on my favs list. Much kudos.

I like this one for the following reasons:
Great skin tone
Excellent lighting
Great pose with the model leaning on the elbows
I like the positioning on the right arm
The hair is not "made up" but looks natural
The legs are still blanketed in darkness
Model's facial expression isn't forced, but looks natural

The lighting and color and grain give this photo the feeling of being old, which is a nice touch. Everything fades into darkness, and is just simply overall excellently done. There really isn't alot I can say that hasn't already been said!
