I think I must have been on some unbearably dull conference call when this idea came to me, or it was the end of the day and I'd decided to try drawing a cartoon vampire. I forget which it was, either way I started out drawing a vampire eating pizza and the idea came to me that eating said pizza, in all of its garlicky goodness, would likely prove fatal to the vampire. Then I thought, "well, in the face of Twilight, what if that's what he actually wanted?" And 'lo a comic was born, and it was...well if not actually good it was at least pretty ok.
