Description
This came about during a really funny conversation with my better half on Easter. We don't really feel one way or the other about Easter. We were both raised in Christian households, but kind of took a different path as we got older. Christian or not, both of us think that Easter, the way it's celebrated with its chocolate bunnies and egg hunts, is pretty silly and has sweet f-all to do with the Resurrection. Ultimately we settled on the idea that Jesus really hates Easter, and every Easter morning he's confronted by the established commercial symbol of the holiday. Even better the bunny himself tries to make peace with the Prince of Peace himself with offerings of coffee and chocolate eggs.

I give more or less the same explanation in the blog post I did the same day, but I also go into some of the other ideas we tossed around. I may go ahead and draw one of them just for giggles.
