Description
It has been a long, long time since I tried to draw anything with the intention of adding color. I probably could have started with a still life and drawn a bowl of apples and bananas, but I didn't feel like that had enough potential to drive me crazy. Somehow I got the bright idea to try drawing a samurai. After a while I came up with this to use as a photo study, with thanks toThis the rough pencil stage. Next I'll add ink.

Thanks! I'll most likely color it with pencils. I haven't worked with color in a while, and pencil is something that's familiar.
