Description
A Thousand Words.

Another conceptual piece, i started off with the general idea of manipulating a speaker onto the mouth of a stock photo, the result was plain which is when i thought of creating a conceptual piece around the saying 'a picture says(is worth) a thousand words'.

Stocks: 4 stocks were used.

Effects: The speaker was manipulated into the girls face using blurring, beveling and smudging as well as some digital painting/brushwork to create the scars/rips/gash's in the face surrounding the speaker. Simple manipulation was then used to add the frame and the background while colour burn and colour dodge tools were used to create a sense of light and darkness.
