Description
So... I took my daughter to a soccer tournament earlier today. I looked up and saw a plane landing on the next field over and thought "wow, we're close to the airport" only to hear a loud crash. Turns out a small plane's engine had died and the pilot was amazing enough to keep it in the air over a large forest, get it to the only opening he could find, manage to miss 3 soccer fields full of kids, come to a stop and walk away. He was a little shaken up because he was clearly stopped by the brush at the end of the field... Without his engines he couldn't brake enough and even using his flaps he smashed into the trees... So glad he was fine and walked away.

This guy is an amazing pilot. He made it over the forest, missed all of the light posts and wires, landed in a crowded park full of kids at a soccer tournament and he missed them all! Kudos to you sir!!!
