Maybe it's a mid-life crisis with having everything change in the period of less than a year and a half but looks like I've got a lot of new beginnings... New house, new car (sports car) and for the first time two tattoos... Hey, a lot of the other stuff is personal, it'll stay off of this page...

I've always wanted some ink but never really had an image that I'd liked enough to put on me forever. After my separation it was easy... The names of my daughters inside a blue star (its the colour of their eyes) since they're the lights of my life placed right over my heart! They mean the world to me! Good thing I waited... The original design included the ex's name too... Phew, more than one thing told me not to do it "just yet"! Funny, one of the first things I did after I left the former family home was have the first tattoo designed.

This one's a little more fun... I've played bass guitar since I was about 15. I've played in bands for years and love bass and the low end. What better way to celebrate that than a funky bass clef? See above... It started out as a black bass clef on fire but my friend Kim suggested that since I'm a Sagittarius, a fire sign, why didn't I consider having the clef itself made of fire... I liked the idea, went back to my fave tattoo artist Liza at Abstract Arts and had her design the above. It's about 95% finished... It needs to heal before we can ad some lines that will define the fire a bit more. But hey, I got excited and decide to show it off "almost done".
