I'm curious about the hint of colour in the first cross struts. Is that intentional?

I didn't do a B&W conversion, I wanted something a little more haunting so I applied a couple of filters to get the effect I wanted and the left over colour is a by-product of that process. And I didn't mind it so I left it in. So I guess you could file that under "happy accident"?
