Sweetie, there is alot of people raising a ruckus about copyrighted material. This picture this person did for you was copied from Kazaa Lite under "gothic_angel" all she did was add the roses. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Sorry to burst your buddy's bubble as well, but I did much more than just the roses. The lens flare was never there before and I touched the image up a bit. I've had people jump on me because of stuff like this before, and I have also had my older works that are not on this site stolen. So please ask what was done before you jump to conclusions. Thank you very much. Oh, and others have done much worse to other people's art. I never said I made the angel, I just constructed the piece. One more thing. I don't have kazaa lite.

Sorry I didn't mean to sound hostile....I was very excited to join this site and view other's art....that particular day I came across a Grim Reaper "tribal" type drawing...I found 132 deviations of the exact same thing...they all claimed to be the original artist...I was frustrated. I had found the image on Kazaa and was planning on having it tattoo'd on me. But that wasn't all, I created deviations that just happened to look similar to other deviations...people jumped all over me and then some about them...so I had to remove half of my stuff...I was just upset, and wanted to warn you. At this point, I don't give a crap, sorry to bother you once again....

You didn't bother me dear. I've had the same reaction from people as you. I think they need to piss off and leave people alone. Up and coming artists have to start somewhere, so what if they BORROW an image, as long as they give credit to the person they borrowed it from it should be fine. I took a look at your work, you're good sweety. Don't stop doing it just because of a few mean people who need to pull their collective heads out of their rears. Anyone who can't give credit to the person they borrowed something from shouldn't have the right to be called an artist. Hell look at the music industry, all the covers of songs done by bands who didn't write the songs and music themselves, they just borrowed it and gave credit to the original band. Only reason I don't give credit on a few of my works, like the one in question, is because no one knows who the original artist is. *Shrugs* I didn't mean to come off as a bitch, I apologize. If you want to make an art piece, make a damn art piece, if you give credit for anything you've borrowed, and people can't just accept that....screw 'em. Keep up the good work sweety. Vampy and I are right beside ya.

she still altered it hon so its now a new piece of art and no ones bubble is bursted cause 99.6 % of what you see on the internet is reproduced stuff anyway as far as images of fantasy ,but thank you for the info and concern

well to a degree it is illegal but if you get the permission to use the image then its ok to use and copyrights have to be on the piece or the page the image is on for it to be valid
