Very interesting shot. 13 frames... wow. The cranes and sky - particularly nice.

Those are the benefits of RAW. I can go two EV up or down in a single image. I produced 13 exposures from the single one I shot.

Ah - the RAW option. I guess you're simply seeing the range of a RAW file - wider than a JPEG but narrower than a series of photographs with different EV levels. It's fun, just the same. I'm sure you saw that scene and thought "now". My pleasure - always.

Yes, it was a "now" shot, but when I looked at it in post processing it did not look like the "now" I had seen then, so I had to resort to HDR to get it back.

Getting the "now" back is often terribly difficult, as we see in 3D and put all kinds of emotion into a shot, which the shot itself knows nothing about. I suppose that's why good photography is such hard work.

Thank you Jonathan. I tried my best to get the picture to show as I had seen the scene, so I decided on trying HDR...
