The Armor Digivolved form of Batterymon through the Digi-Egg of Light. It is said that it's unbroken gaze could kill, so its considerable power has been restrained by the enchanted blindfold it is forced to wear.
Deathly Gaze: Basliscmon let's the power behind the blindfold shine through. The gaze cannot kill, but it does paralyze the object of observation.
Constriction: Basliscmon uses its tail to choke the life from its opponent.
Cockerel Crow: Basliscmon crows out in a loud and generally disruptive manner.
King's Venom: Basliscmon spews a corrosive substance.
Basliscmon's name and design are derived from the Basilisk.

I hope you do not mind, but time had planned an improved version of the armordigivolutions that did not appear in the anime, and for a good replacement for Harpymon, thought Hawkmon could become a basilisk with the crest of Light, what happens is that this creature look appropriate for Hawkmon, you do not mind the resemblance?

Your design of a digimon based on the cockatrice or basilisk is much better than the actual Cockatrimon wikimon.net/Cockatrimon in the anime. Cockatrimon may be based on the cockatrice/basilisk except that it looks like an overgrown chicken with teeth.

No. Remember, this is what they are all based on, and it has been used before in tamers. We've had a Snakehead, a german shepherd Dog, a Baboon, an apple-slice Rabbit, a Dragonfly, a manatee/SeaCow, a Bronco, and now a Cockatrice.

This isn't trying to guess what the next one will be, this is to guess what unites all of the Armor Stages.
What you have right now is that they all derive from a common origin and it was used before for something that appears in Tamers. For an added clue, there's a component to Yajumon that relates heavily to all of this.
